The company is headquartered in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, and is increasingly focused on media, news publishing, content production and digital advertising.
Mavison Industries owns and publishes Mpumalanga Post, a provincial publication established to provide credible reporting and a trusted platform for the people, businesses and institutions of Mpumalanga.
Alongside its media interests, the company undertakes selected distribution, procurement and business-to-business activities. This allows Mavison to combine communication, market access and commercial support within one growing enterprise.

Meet the Chief Executive
Samukelo Hlatshwayo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mavison Industries (Pty) Ltd and Executive Director of Mpumalanga Post, the company's wholly owned provincial news publication.
His experience in media, publishing and communications dates back more than 15 years. He began his media career in 2010 at the Highveld Tribune in Ermelo and later worked for the Ridge Times in Secunda, part of the Caxton local newspaper network.
He subsequently worked for Khanyisa Weekly Newspaper, where he served as Managing Editor, before establishing the independent community publication Village Voice. These roles gave him practical experience in community journalism, editorial production, newspaper management and understanding the information needs of communities across Mpumalanga.
His professional background also includes experience in public affairs and political communications, where he has supported organisational administration, campaign communication, digital content, public engagement and the positioning of institutional and leadership brands. This has strengthened his understanding of strategic communication, audience engagement and reputation management.
Samukelo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of South Africa and an Advanced Certificate in Entrepreneurship. His academic background complements his practical experience in media, public affairs, communication and enterprise development.
Through Mavison Industries and Mpumalanga Post, he is focused on developing sustainable media platforms, strengthening provincial journalism and creating commercial opportunities through publishing, advertising, distribution and strategic partnerships.
